Sakura TEC 5 Embedding Center

The Sakura TEC 5 embedding system is a 2-piece modular system for the production of paraffin blocks. This system is fully programmable with precise temperature control. Modules can be positioned left or right for operator convenience. Paraffin chamber is 4 Liter and the cooling plate holds 60 cassettes.

Sakura TEC 4 Embedding Center

A compact embedding system with 2 ergonomic modules for embedding and cooling. The digital LED panel displays temperatures for all the heated and cooling areas. Modules can be positioned left or right for operator convenience. Paraffin chamber is 2 Liter and the cooling plate holds 60 cassettes. Specifications: 33” W X 24” D x 13”H. Weight: 87 lbs.

Leica EG1150 Embedding Center

The Leica EG 1150 consists of 2 units, the heated paraffin dispensing module (H) and the 1150 (C) cold plate. The modules may be arranged left or right for workflow. The paraffin reservoir is 3 liter and has a spacious work surface. Unit is programmable for temperature and on/off times. The cold plate has a constant temperature of -5C and holds 70 cassettes.

The Leica EG 1160 is a one-piece compact unit with a 3 Liter paraffin reservoir. The unit is programmable for start and stop times; date, time and language. The cassette bath holds 100 cassettes. Paraffin flow rate is adjustable the unit includes a paraffin level indicator.

Thermo Shandon Histocenter 3

The Thermo Shandon Histocenter 3 has a smart digital timer control activated through a touch screen. The touch screen display allows you to adjust settings or view temperatures. When paraffin is dispensed, a light automatically illuminates. The 5 liter paraffin tank is easily monitored. The tissue storage tank holds 200 molds. The instrument features an easy to drain tissue storage tank, for reduced contamination and easy cleaning.
